I am a former art teacher and museum co-curator.  I  exhibit  my work in several galleries and art festivals. My work is included in  private collections  in the U.S and Germany.

I was recently invited to have my paintings included in a new book “Picturing Florida - From the First Coast to the Space Coast” It  will be available in September of 2008.

My most recent work is very much influenced by the intracoastal waterways of Central Florida. These paintings are an exploration of the horizontal bands of color that make-up the Florida landscape.

I have allowed these bands of color that layer the canvas to become more important to me than trying to recreate every detail of the subject matter. My paintings have  become very tonal and I am enjoying the process of exploring the color and values that are produced.
